re:Dress Poster re:Dress logo re:Dress Outdoor Banner
In college I was an active member of AIGA, the Professional Association for Design MSU chapter. We named, branded, created and installed the museum exhibit for sustainable dresses designed by textile design students at MSU. My main projects on the exhibit were the hanger logo, the outdoor banner, and the promotional poster.

I had so much fun designing several Christmas themed displays for the Michigan Lottery tickets. I was thrilled when they picked this design, because it was was simple and classy, but colorful and festive as well!

Kings of Flint" - Documentary on the urban agriculture in Flint, Michigan. For the identity of this documentary, I wanted to use an iconic Flint landmark with the plants, so that the audience would have some understanding about the concept of the movie. The "Flint, Vehicle City" sign is at Flint's city entrance and is a very distinctive landmark of Flint. The plants are growing on the sign to represent agriculture as a new economic reliability in Flint, after the fall of the auto business, and bring the city to recovery. I toned the colors down and gave it a grunge texture for an urban feel.

Visual Thesaurus Campaign - I wanted to keep consistent with the Visual Thesaurus website, visually and conceptually. The word equation shows the outcome of using Visual Thesaurus while the word web shows how to use the site. The body copy continues to show the benefits of the site with the red pen edits.

This brochure was designed for a web analytics website called Kontagent. They requested an edgy brochure that matched the style of their website. I didn't limit the graphs and scales with borders, but made them splash across the page, linking all the services as one entity, as Kontagent.

This CD cover is for a folk band, Neptune Quartet's first album. They're from Traverse City, Michigan, which is why I used cherry trees, what Traverse City's famous for. The four instruments show what instruments the band members play, and the type of music to expect from the CD.

"The Giraffe House" - An MSU Telecasters student TV show. The brand identity for this show was very simply, giraffes. They didn't want any consistent giraffes. Every giraffe and piece of work was displayed in a fun and unique way that represented the quirkiness of their show.

Thunder Road or Thank You for Coming - One hundred percent student-created play. One of the three characters know it's a play - and he tries to make the play more interesting in grim and unwelcome ways for the other two characters. I wanted my design to show the ominous atmosphere as well as the lurking mysterious third character, and be a good display of the question, "What is reality anyway?"
